From Dailon: I want to thank everyone involved with saving Lax’s life. I am moved by the generosity of people who care. It has been amazing to see the love and commitment to my beautiful horse whom I’ve helped through many trials. I have learned a lot and am grateful for the learning. To see how much effort and love went into this process is amazing. I am elated that there are others that love horses as much as I do. I am excited that I will be able to help more horses through our venture THE GREYTON HORSE RETREAT. I am hopeful for the future. I will endeavor to project this kind of care and love onto my piers so that the horses in Greyton are cared for and regarded as special rather than just a ride.I was very interested with the process and the way the vet handled my filly. I’ve never had the opportunity to see how that works. I am grateful to Nicola Vernon, Yves Fourie, Natty Lee Carter, Penny from EARS Donkey Sanctuary, Greyton NPO 147-280 and everyone else that is involved. I don’t have the means to do what you people do but I am sure willing to learn so that I too can make a difference. Just like you now have. Without you my filly would have been dead. The dump has been a nightmare for me for a long time but I’ve been at a loss because I don’t know what to do other than start my own venture for the horses. I hope that I can get enough support that I will be able to help not only my horses but other’s horses too. There is much to be done but I’ve committed to the task. There is hope for us now.
